In the last few days, Honda discovered that the ransomware virus had affected networks across Japan, North America, Europe, China and other regions. This is despite their efforts to secure their systems in mid-May.
Around 54% of British businesses experienced a Ransomware attack in 2016, which saw their users’ files locked down. More awareness of this form of malware is crucial, to avoid being one of the many businesses at the mercy of cybercriminals.
